Colonel M Gaddafi

I   PROPOSE  TO   INVITE   COLONEL  M. GADDAFI  TO    ERBIL .

As you read in the following news passage , which is duplicated  from the original source and is published extensively in the world media  , Colonel M. Gaddafi , the Libyan gallant leader made these elucidations  , inside his residence tent in France, addressing the  Kurdish guests , during his visit there in  December 17, 2007  . I like to indicate  , he always has expressed his philanthropist  sympathy toward  Kurds at any relevant  circumstance and occasions honestly  .

As a Kurdish writer , I feel it quite imperative to thank him cordially for this brave and justified  stance in the Kurdish  question , and his daring to express such explicit  friendly policies , which even some Kurdish  leaders are reluctant  to promote  it !!! .    In this regard , also  I propose to His Excellency,  President  M. Barzani , to invite this outstanding personality to Erbil (KRG) and hospitalize him as a close friend of Kurds , simultaneously give  him the Kurdish national  insignia   , as a distinctive token of  gratitude and appreciation . And to show, that  Kurds are loyal to  respect their friends .

News of Colonel Gaddafi's support for establishing an independent  Kurdish State  is as follows :

"Gaddafi backs independent Kurdish state :

Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has backed Iraqi Kurds' right to their own independent state and vowed he would give full support for Kurdish efforts to that effect, an Iraqi Kurdish news report said yesterday.

Gaddafi made the remarks as he received a group of Iraqi Kurdish politicians in his Bedouin tent, set up in the garden of French President Nicolas Sarkozy 's  guest residence, news agency Peyamner said. The agency, close to Iraqi President Jalal Talabani's Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) party, also reported,  that the Kurdish politicians thanked him for his consistent support for the "Kurdish cause."

Gaddafi, who took power in 1969 in a military coup , paid a four-day visit to Paris at the invitation of Sarkozy  last week. He received his guests at his tent during his stay.
